Berhad was incorporated in 1993
by a group of creative and innovative people
with the intention of going into the manufacturing
and trading. Its group Managing Director who
was very popular then with his invention of
anti-diabetic tea called as Gymnema
Herbal Tea. It was his innovative
idea to go into dental care products. In his
research he found dangerous chemicals and
animal by-products were commonly used in ordinary
toothpaste.
For example some of the common toothpaste
ingredients:- Hydrated Silica, Sorbitol, Aluminium
Oxide, Glycerin, PEG-12, Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate,
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, PVM/MA Copolymer,
Cellulose Gum, Sodium Monofluorophosphate,
Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide.
Some toothpaste has warning sign on its packages
that it has to be kept out of the reach of
children. He found it hard to accept mankind
are mislead into using strong chemical based
toothpaste. Thus it prompted him to develop
a chemical
free toothpaste called "LITNA".
Since it was an innovative idea the name LITNA
was coined the following way - "Latest Innovative
Toothpaste Natural Alternate". To enhance
his consumers to use his toothpaste or value
for money he further added herbal extracts
of Banyan and Acacia Arabica twigs, which
are good for the gums and teeth as proven
by the older generations. |
